Candlelighters “RFAC”, Ride For A Child
Hi everyone!
Gary (my husband) & I are cycling again (4th year) for children with cancer.
The organization we ride for is called “Candlelighters”. Our local organization supports families and kids with cancer in Oregon & S.W. Washington. The event is “RFAC”, Ride For A Child. We are group of hopeful and dedicated individuals who bring awareness and raise money to support local kids and their families,
by riding the Cycle Oregon course (450 miles over 6 days in September 2012).
This year we will be riding for Adonis. He is 13 years old who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in 2007. Since his diagnosis and subsequent treatments, there have been five recurrences of his tumor.
